    Astros' 30th Season Begins With A New Record!

At the preseason sign-up meetings for the girls' and boys' tennis programs 44 girls and 46 boys' committed to play tennis for the Astros this season!

The Pinkerton Astros are a nationally recognized USTA No-cut tennis program.  The 90 player total is the highest number of players the program has served. 

The varsity boys' team was the state finalist last year ending the '09 campaign with a 12 and 5 record, while the girls were quarter finalists boasting a best ever 12-2 regular season mark. 

For 2010, the boys return Eagle Tribune All-Stars Sam Eaton, Dan Kish, and Mike Soltys, along with stellar #5 man Tyler Angle.

The girls have last seaon's Eagle Tribune All-Star Summer Burns returning with 2 other starters, Ruth DiTulio, Maggie Preece.
